Printing tips
Please note that I am unable to control how people's individual printers will output my download files. I produce the files with a lot of care to make them as clear and close to my original as I can, and really want you to be happy with your downloads.
Please note if you print larger than the file size stated then this will reduce the resolution and may breach the license terms.
If you have any problems please contact me before leaving a negative review and I'll be glad to help!
The margins when you print the page are down to individual printer settings and alignment and are not controlled by the file. If you print and it doesn't look as per the file, you could check common things that affect print quality on home printers such as:
- are you printing at 'best' quality?
- do you have ink saver mode on?
- do your inks need replacing?
- does your printer need recalibrating/printer head need realigning?
- do you need to re-align your paper?
- have you selected the paper/card type you're using in your printer settings?
- have you selected 'scale to fit printable area' to fill your paper as much as your printer will allow?
- are your inks manufacturer-recommended?
- is the paper you're using high quality? (If you'd like me to share card stock I have used let me know)
- do the printer heads and cartridges need cleaning?
